Going Bananas is an ITOH peony with large semi-double or double flowers 15–20 cm in diameter. The bright lemon-yellow petals have a soft shimmer and often retain a warm hue even in hot weather. The center is decorated with golden stamens, which adds depth and contrast to the flower. The exquisite appearance is combined with a light fruity aroma that fills the garden with a pleasant fragrance.

The flowering of this variety lasts longer than that of classic herbaceous peonies, and the flowers appear one after the other, forming a wave effect.
