Peony Border Charm is an exquisite ITOH peony (intersectional hybrid) bred in 1984, combining the beauty of herbaceous and tree peonies. This variety features a compact bush, making it ideal for borders, flower beds, or container planting. Its sturdy stems do not require support, maintaining an elegant form even after rain.

The flowers of Border Charm measure 15–18 cm in diameter and impress with a yellow hue accented by a soft peach blush at the base of the petals. The center showcases a bright pink or raspberry “eye,” surrounded by golden stamens, creating a striking contrast and adding refinement. The petals have a soft, slightly ruffled texture, enhancing their decorative appeal.

This peony blooms abundantly in mid-spring, with flowers lasting 2–3 weeks, and can provide repeat blooms under favorable conditions.
