Peony Pink Double Dandy is a wonderfully sweet and cheerful flower that feels like a classic garden favorite. The big, fluffy blooms are packed with soft, rosy-pink petals that gently fade to a lighter pastel shade at the edges. As the flower opens up, it reveals gorgeous deep pinkish-red splashes near the center, right around a bright little cluster of golden-yellow stamens. It is a lovely, layered look that feels incredibly romantic and full of life.
This variety is a fantastic choice for adding a cozy, traditional charm to your flower beds or pathways. It forms a healthy, reliable bush with really strong stems. You won't have to worry about these full, heavy blooms falling over into the dirt, even after a breezy spring day or a rain shower. The nice, lush green leaves stay looking great all summer, keeping your garden looking fresh and neat.
Pink Double Dandy is also just perfect for bringing inside. Putting a few of these beautiful pink blossoms in a vase instantly makes any room feel warmer, brighter, and more welcoming. It’s an easy-to-love flower that brings a genuinely happy, elegant, and effortless feel to your home and garden.

Guide and tips for planting peony plants and bulbs
- Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.
- Dig a hole that is 2-3 times wider than the diameter of the peony bulb or root and deep enough to accommodate it comfortably.
- Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.
- Place the peony bulb or root in the hole with the "eyes" (small buds) facing up and the crown (thickened stem base) no more than 1-2 inches below the soil surface.
- Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb or root.
- Water the soil until it is evenly moist.
- Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
- Water the plant regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.
- As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.
- After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
