Peony Berry Garcia is an absolute charmer that brings a beautiful, lively splash of color to any garden. Its gorgeous flowers feature soft, creamy pink outer petals that draw the eye toward a rich, vibrant berry-red center. The way the delicate pastel edges blend into that deep, dark middle creates a stunning two-toned effect, making each bloom look like a delicate watercolor painting.
This variety is a fantastic choice for giving your flower beds or mixed borders a fresh and vibrant feel. It grows into a wonderfully neat, lush bush with strong, reliable stems. You won't have to worry about these gorgeous blooms flopping over, even when they are fully open or after a bit of spring rain. Plus, the attractive green leaves stay looking healthy and vibrant long after the blooming is done.
Berry Garcia is also amazing for cutting, letting you bring its cheerful, sweet vibe right into your home. The striking flowers last beautifully in a vase, easily becoming the center of attention in any room. It’s the ideal peony for anyone looking for a flower that is both elegantly classic and playfully colorful, bringing a truly warm and joyful energy to your space.

Guide and tips for planting peony plants and bulbs
- Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.
- Dig a hole that is 2-3 times wider than the diameter of the peony bulb or root and deep enough to accommodate it comfortably.
- Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.
- Place the peony bulb or root in the hole with the "eyes" (small buds) facing up and the crown (thickened stem base) no more than 1-2 inches below the soil surface.
- Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb or root.
- Water the soil until it is evenly moist.
- Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
- Water the plant regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.
- As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.
- After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
