Appearance
Height of the plant: 60-80 cm
Flower diameter: 16 cm
Blossom month: May
Flower colour: white
This is a fairly disease-resistant and soil-friendly variety. In order to flower well and for a long time, and to enjoy its large buds for a whole month, it will need proper planting. It should be planted in a sunny, draught-free location, giving it enough space from neighbouring shrubs. To ensure that the flower buds will be set after flowering, the shrub will be given plenty of water and it will not be cut back until it has reached a stable cold spell. The Brother Chuck variety blends well with other red, pink and yellow peonies to create a picturesque backdrop to a flower bed or an entire low-growing hedge.

Guide and tips for planting peony plants and bulbs
- Choose a sunny spot in your garden with well-draining soil.
- Dig a hole that is 2-3 times wider than the diameter of the peony bulb or root and deep enough to accommodate it comfortably.
- Mix some compost or other organic matter into the soil at the bottom of the hole.
- Place the peony bulb or root in the hole with the "eyes" (small buds) facing up and the crown (thickened stem base) no more than 1-2 inches below the soil surface.
- Fill the hole with soil and gently firm the soil around the bulb or root.
- Water the soil until it is evenly moist.
- Cover the area with a layer of mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
- Water the plant regularly, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely.
- As the plant grows, provide support to the stem to prevent it from bending or breaking.
- After the flowers have faded, cut the stem off at the base and continue to care for the plant by watering it regularly and providing it with full sun or partial shade.
